· Teaching in School of Pharmacy on microbiological control of pharmaceutical products (for Pharm. D. and Ph.D. students) since 1982, almost every other semester, also biological products from 1982 to 1997.
· Demonstrating and lecturing general microbiology to undergraduate students (biology students) since 1982, almost every other semester until 1990.
· Supervision of at least 120 Pharm. D. and Ph.D. thesis in the field of pharmaceutical microbiology. The subjects are dealing with the evaluation of antibacterial activity of drugs and the mechanisms of their action; antibacterial activity of antibiotics not yet marketed in Iran, particularly on the hospital strains; screening antibacterial activity of plants of different parts of Iran and their mechanism of action; microbial quality control of pharmaceutical products; and screening mutagenicity of potential compounds and plant extracts by Ames test.
· I spent six months sabbatical leave in Dr. J. W. Coulton's research laboratory (1992-1993) at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, I had opportunity to learn molecular biology and recombinant DNA technologies" Molecular genetics of a surface receptor of Escherichia coli K- 12.
. I spent 4 months sabbatic leave in Dr. Daniel Oth's research laboratory (1997-1998) at University du Quebees, Institut Armand- Frappier, Laval, Canada. I learned tissue culture techniques and I introduced a sensitive bioassay for the determination of Porcine TNF- a to that laboratory.
