Mashhad Faculty of Pharmacy was first opened with the name Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Nutrition in 1971 and after changing the name to Faculty of Pharmacy; in 1982, it was moved to the campus of Mashhad University. Currently, the faculty accepts students every year in October and in February. In addition, the faculty accepts students in 9 specialized doctoral programs (all educational groups) and one master's program (toxicology). The number of faculty members of the faculty is 60 people, who are based in 9 educational groups (including the group of medicinal biotechnology, medicinal chemistry, drug control, pharmacodynamics and toxicology, clinical pharmacology, pharmaceutics, medicinal nanotechnology, pharmacognosy and traditional pharmacy).
